Trainman Gives Birth To A "NA Monster!!"

Very Nice Jerry.

It's going to flow so well, it wont really matter on the X pipe.

The big deal that I see is the header collectors! Looks like a "Rocket Nozzle" design with converging, throat and diverging sections. That will definitely accelerate the exhaust flow and help "Suck" your exhaust out of the heads.

SWEET :D

Were these headers on during the dyno runs?

Cheers!

Yes they were.

Most of the metal is already gone, from my previous weight reduction! Look at the ends in the photos, the metal (what's left of it) is still apparent. These cutouts will be Black powder coated, with twin chrome exhaust tips (round) on each side in the final version.

Update time: Truck was started yesterday for the first time. Here's video, still needs tuning. They are working on the intake before the final dyno tuning. Enjoy!

the rev is sick! Great work!

Talking with Todd (A&C Perf) he says a lot of that crackling sound will go away with the fine tuning. Seems to think it might be real rich on one side (notice the smoke). Also talked with Chris Jensen and he says we should get much bigger injectors. When the engine was up at Exotic Engine we had to run the fuel pressure up to 70 lbs to get enough fuel. Truck is only set at about 50 lbs now so we will be increasing the injector size by at least 30%. More later. Looks like the Dyno tune by Chris will be on Oct. 2. Any SoCal brothers are welcome to be there.

Simple....do both! I think Chris will be available, he's taking the day off from his normal work, but you should call first.
