Traction/Transfer bars by V1Racing

traction bars are always beneficial whether you DD or/and race. this is a good performance mod and a good safety mod. They keep that axle from coming forward. It will tighten up the rear suspension a little bit but hey, it's a truck, not a luxury car.

scott will these be beneficial for guys who just like to have fun on the streets or is this more of a serious drag app? Also, if lowered and not a race truck (as in a daily driver) is this something to consider just for daily driving benefits? (in retrospect, thats kindve the same question twice)

These will benefit every single SRT10 Viper Truck out there as it'll keep the rear stabilized, while using that momentum and wasted energy to transfer weight from the front end onto the rear tires. Burnouts are harder but black marks are much more pronounced :) because of the tires being planted harder. Mine is lowered 3/4 and I went over the steepest, hugest speed bumps and uneven, uphill driveway testing these for you guys. They are being re-powdercoated due to changes I made and will be ready to ship very soon
All are gloss black except one flame red setup for a customer that requested. Colors can be had at an additional charge.

Unfortunately due to total costs, which I've obviously waited to share until fabrication was complete on multiple sets to get the best price possible, they are not going to be as close to Caltracs as I thought.

These will retail for $995 plus shipping which I still have to find the best deal on. As mentioned by many who understand this system, it'll be worth every dollar as even a 100% bone STOCK Viper Truck will spin down the road or track resulting in embarrassing losses that should not have been. :chain:

only 1k ?? ouch you gotta up production and down on the cost thats a lil rich for most of this crowd, you may get a few but at that rate im betting it will be thought " we have a lot of cheep members on here " lol...

Yeah I wanted to keep them about Caltracs cost but these are far more effective and the cost is not marked up much at all. They'll likely go up a couple hundred after initial run. DOM tubing, Chromoly Heim Joints, Machining, front and rear brackets, grade 8 bolts and hardware, Powdercoating, welding, not to mention various other costs incurred. If you want a 500hp stock pickup to hook up you have to invest. These mount up in about 1 hour as well, so labor is saved compared to Caltracs install as your springs aren't removed ;-)
I've done my best but won't cut cost at the sake of cheaper parts/tubing. These are done right!!

Not complaining just wasn't ready for a 1k bank account drop lol how much more for the silver powder coating

Silver should be same as black. It's the reds, oranges and yellows that are pricey. If there's a difference in Silver ill take care of it.

They're packaged for shipment! Accepting payments now :)
Introductory priced at $995 plus $100 shipping. Time to hook and book cause we have learned the hard way "Spinnin ain't Winnin":chain:

ah Ill just send it to my house so I dont have to hear the boss whine about boxes coming for me

Update/feedback...

Dowurkson???

Lets hear it!

There are 3 sets other than mine installed. Dowurkson, another that's in engine build process, and a non-Vtcoa member from Austin.
Hopefully we'll have Trainman and Arrestmered04 running them soon as well :)
Believe a few Canadians are ready as well as HWMech too. :burnout:
