Just got my goodies from Boomer (thanks Gary!) and curious as to where others are mounting the viper clutch reservoir. Just want to be consistent.

Thanks Gary for calling me back.
Decided that I'd fix my own oil leak, even though I'm under warranty as the closest viper tech dealership is 100miles, and they've had 3 vipers and 2 trucks sold from them.
Bought the:
oil lines,
Rear main seal.....still confused as factory manual says...
04RC 3,300 miles.
Had the truck on the lift to put on some baby step mods (Bassani shorties and magnaflow cat-back), and noticed some oil leaks: Now I know why I had that fried clutch sandwich smell last launch.......
1) the cooler lines. Fittings on the block are leaking. Hoping a little...
Had to return 1 for a flat spot on the edge, so the truck is on jackstands. Impatiently waiting for UPS.......

To get the 4.88's to work, you use the Unitrax carrier which shifts the ring over to the small pinion (about 1/4 inch). 5.13's must use even smaller pinion as the ring on the 88's is tight in the housing.
To get the 4.88's to work, you must ever so slightly grind down one tooth at it's peak to...
Just received my 4.88 set from Devin at Unitrax. I'm tech savvy and have my own lift, press, etc. Worked for years as a mechanic and wrenched on superbikes in the 80's so I'm ready to do this myself as I've done numerous GM swaps in my youth. I putter around the garage now for fun.

Cragar just offered a new 22" wheel in one piece aluminum that mimics the old SS wheels some of us old-timers had back-in-the-day.
I pulled the trigger...and now I'm waiting.
