There's no doubt that you will get your tuner,Marty is a very straight up guy,fully trustable! I got mine,took some time,had to get a touch up tranny retune and has been excellent since.
 
What number are you guys using? I've Pm'd him, emailed, and tried the number on his site and got nothing. Starting to get fustrated:confused:
 
Not Happy With Service

My tune is still not right? It will not shift into second unless I shift it like a stick with the gas pedal. Then if I don't. It hits the rev limiter. I can't even get my original SCT Tune sent to me. Right now I also can't even turn the tires over from a stop on the 93 tune and flooring it???? I have tried two updated tunes. It feels like it has to do with the torque management but I am not sure? :confused: I have called, E-Mailed, and sent PMs. No response in over a week. Plus I have a set of heads there. Had to pay right away on the heads so they could get them out of the way. (At least that is what I was told.) Then after paying I was told I was two weeks away because there were two sets ahead of me. It has been two weeks and no update on my heads either.

I want my money back on the heads if they have not started on them. Since I can't get a response I have no idea what is going on? :dontknow: I am already really frustrated.
 
Guys, I'm not trying to make excuses for Marty, I do not know him personally I have just spoken with him on the phone BUT as with our VTCOA shirt orders we were inundated with orders the first 30 days and had a hell of a time playing catch up, we are just now finishing the last of the original months orders. We ordered at least 25 tuners in a matter of 1 week all of which have to be individually programmed which I am sure is time consuming. He seems like a real stand up guy and I really feel he is not purposely ignoring anyone.
I need some help with mine also but I know not to call him right now.
 
Guys, call the shop.....I am here and I have answered the e-mails. Simply call the shop and ask for me.
 
OK Guys i just talked to Marty. He is swamped. He just got back from Pinks, working on tuners.......you can't work all the time gotta play too!!:rock: But I would call him. It seems to be the best way to get a hold of him. He seems to be top notch!!!!!!
 
I got ahold of him easy when I tryed. He sent me a new tune and helped me get the program going. He's a very easy guy to deal with. Then I stepped on my SCT cable end and ended my day playing with tunes. I just got the tuner back from SCT. Had to have a new cable and end put on. Now I'm ready to play again.
 
All of these stories are great and heartwarming, however they don't change the fact that some of us are still waiting for our tuners that we paid for over a month ago. I have personally emailed/PM'd or called on numerous occasions.

Every time I call the shop it just rings......it's literally happened 8-10 times to me. I've given up on calling. When I do get him to answer PM's (he wont answer email even though he says to send email) he replies that he is going to check and get back to me, and then no answer again. (In his defense he tried to PM me once and my box was full, I immediately let him know I cleaned it out but no PM in return so I guess it wasn't that important)

I just want a straight answer and I told him this from the beginning. If it's gonna take 3 weeks, tell me that. Don't tell me Monday, Wed, next Mon etc every time I ask about it. I've literally been told that it's going out Mon, Wed or any other random day five times......and here i am with no tuner.

We all have jobs and lives as well and are busy, yet we have time to call, PM, email and get nothing in return. I really don't know what to do other than cancel the order and get a refund......I know my ass would really be chapped if I didn't pay my CC off at the end of every cycle....it's BS to pay interest on something you don't even have a month later.

Heads are magically just being started and are still 2 weeks away from being done.:confused: I will believe it in 2 weeks. Therefore no refund.

I can't even get my original tune back. The one that came on the SCT when I first got it. It should be a simple E-Mail and be in a file for my truck. (Looks like it is not?) That one really ripped on the bottom. The 3-4 shift was not good. Therefore I have had two different tunes since. None of the three i have tried will shift 1-2 without hitting the limiter. Now it acts like a 5 cylinder on a dead stop take off. I want to put the original back in and see if it is the new tune problem or my truck has a issue. I have ask every time I call, E-Mail, or PM. I have been told the tune did not change. Only the transmission firmness. :dontknow:

In todays horrible economy KRC should be extremely happy to be busy and appreciate all the customers for it. Many businesses are just the opposite! Here in Michigan we have a new "Oregon Trail" heading south because of all the jobs lost.
 
Richard, stop spending your time writing and just simply call me. You can have whatever tune you would like in your files.

Thats a ridiculous statement at best,this isnt xmetal,he has been getting tuners out everyday,he answers his phone when he's there ,he's not avoiding anyone ,.

Futhermore he spent nearly four hours on my truck tuning it on the dyno ,replacing parts and going over everything in detail with me,he spent 2 more hours then he originally billed me for and didnt charge me any extra.

He also came to our dyno day and tuned trucks with the sct for free,he spent nearly 10 hours without charging anyone for his time.

Marty is a standup guy,hes not out to screw anyone over.

IF YOU NEED TO TALK TO MARTY THEN CALL HIM ,DONT EMAIL HIM FIRST CALL HIM!
