I know, it's terrible since their main subject seems to be beastiality and incest - hehehehe ask Stinker he musta graduated from both :p :p ;) :D :elefant:

Tell me more Denise!!!

looks like James (OSO) and Ryan (Fahrenheit) are going to try and sort this thing out tonight or in the next coming week. Will let you guys know as soon as we figure this damn thing out!

I really hope it is something simple...but it sure sounds serious.

Good luck, lets us know.

I am hoping for the best for you man. Things always seems to happen at inopputune times and I think it's one of our tests to see if we crack under pressure. Keep your head up and we'll try and help you get it sorted out and with the knowledge here it won't take long.

Unfortunatley it does sound bad. It would seem that the water in the engine and a hydrolock event would explaing the broken bellhousing as well since the extreme amount of torque the starter emits would have to go somewhere. Usually that's when the rod gets bent, the starter breaks, or something such as the bellhousing cracks along the starter mount area. It'll find the weakest link and it's usually not the starter.
This is one of those times I pray as well and hope it is something simple that we can all learn from. Doesn't always have to be someone ill or unemployed as reason to pray. :dontknow:

**UPDATE**

Well is seems that my engine was hydrolocked due to water getting sucked into the intake. Im still puzzled at how so much water got into my engine but they are dropping the oil pan today and I will soon find out whats sitting on the bottom. I turned the flywheel with a screwdriver and I did see water stream out after it went through a compression cycle .

wow depressing :(
It does suck. But it's definitely the best case scenario. If he's got a good service guy, he should be able to get the insurance company to pay for atleast a short block, or worst case, a used engine with less miles than he has now. Good luck Justin. ;)

Well I spoke to the service manager tonight and apparently they got it to start! They said that there was some water (very little)in there but drained it out. They dropped the oil pan and there was nothing metal at all in the pan. He said that there was bearing problems and that they were loose :dontknow: . They are writing up a quote for the insurance and will have it to them tomorrow. Good thing I only have a 250.00 deductable (only 8dollars a month more a month from when it was 1000.00. looks like I will be back on the streets soon:burnout: looking for the guy that said I should have bought a hemi:rock:

You know, Im really surprised at the thread..175 posts on it, and not one of you mentioned muffler bearings, kanuter valves, or anything like that..Who says the VTCOA would never evolve to anything more than a buncha yokels with ozone depleting garage queens?..lol

Good news on the truck..hope it works out for you..

Sounds good...but remember...you had a closed electrode on a plug...something hit it. That is the only way it can happen, unless it goes in that way...just saying...

Hope it turns out great for you.
