after getting it running started putting the fenders on, started here because we have to fabricate the fuel fill neck.

Progress has been a little slow, had a new baby in August. It runs, now just the never ending "little stuff" to tie up. Interior will be done in a week or so. Bed wood is just about done. It'll be on the road when the snow melts.

All I would do is fabricate an appealing heat shield to keep the air filter from sucking in the radiant heat from the exhaust manifold. Then find a creative way to funnel fresh outside air into filter cavity.
