    Gen II Intake Setup

I will definitely come here to share and look for input. This looks like a later summer project for me right now. Sadly having to install another T56 after destroying mine (don't ask). Got one from Tick. I'll go ahead and install the Viper release bearing / master cylinder along with the...

    Gen II Intake Setup

A gen II intake is indeed the way to go. Straight from the SRT engineers. Gen III intakes designed for hood clearance on Vipers. I have one waiting for installation on truck #13.

1st SRT-10 off the assembly line

I don't know if trucks built for Dodge like test mules and pace trucks are counted. VCA trucks were build numbers 138, 139, 142, 143, 145-189, and 199. I have this tiny picture that shows the blue trucks in Mexico. The stripes were added in Michigan. Steve

    2004 build trivia

Hey guys. I checked out the SRT-10 Ram page on wikipedia and found a couple of mistakes. While fixing those I thought I'd put my Excel skills to use. I think I'll go read some drag racing threads now.

    1 piece drive shaft

It was discussed over there but not the same thread as the sticky one about balancing. I didn't know the QC's had steel shafts. Anyone have any pics they can share? I've never been under a QC.

    1 piece drive shaft

Have you calculated the critical speed for a 1 piece shaft? Length and RPM affect when all hell breaks loose down there. That is why the '04 (4.10) has a 4" shaft and the '05 (4.56) has a 5". Something that the '04 guys who have changed the rear gear should consider if they plan to drive 140+...

    DC engineer discussion

The SRT Nationals later this month in Topeka would be a great place to get access to SRT engineers. From my experience, they are very good at answering direct questions. They don't (usually) answer questions about future products or general questions like "So tell me about .....".

    Battery Relocation; Cons and Pros?

I did it. I built a battery holder that fits into the back side of the Hidden Hitch. It sits up in the space where the spare is (I have to remove the spare). I use welding cable quick connects to relocate it from front to back. All weight is not created equal. 30# from the nose will...
