A gen II intake is indeed the way to go. Straight from the SRT engineers. Gen III intakes designed for hood clearance on Vipers. I have one waiting for installation on truck #13.

I don't know if trucks built for Dodge like test mules and pace trucks are counted. VCA trucks were build numbers 138, 139, 142, 143, 145-189, and 199. I have this tiny picture that shows the blue trucks in Mexico. The stripes were added in Michigan. Steve

Have you calculated the critical speed for a 1 piece shaft? Length and RPM affect when all hell breaks loose down there. That is why the '04 (4.10) has a 4" shaft and the '05 (4.56) has a 5". Something that the '04 guys who have changed the rear gear should consider if they plan to drive 140+...

The SRT Nationals later this month in Topeka would be a great place to get access to SRT engineers. From my experience, they are very good at answering direct questions. They don't (usually) answer questions about future products or general questions like "So tell me about .....".
