Basically what everyone else is saying... Running the rpms that low with that kind of load will cause severe detonation. Detonation will throw a rod through your block or break a piston... Are you saving enough money on gas to pay for a new motor??? Please use a better gear, spend the extra...

I got a recall notice telling me that the front wheel bearings on my Dodge Ram 1500 may not have had enough grease put in them at the factory... I know that my truck is built on that frame but do you think this applies to my SRT10?

Roe's I have done a centri, twin turbos and a twinscrew all on the same car. Twinscrew all the way for me. But my taste is for road smiling and an occasional track "test and tune". I am not a drag racer nor do I street race. I just love to hit the happy pedal and feel the torque slam me back...

If you are just looking for low boost daily driving fun, then I would get the twinscrew over the centri any day. The torque curve is like a table top versus the centri and is at max boost at around 2500 rpms (WOT). The centri needs more rpm to max out its boost...
