Question for SRT-10 owners in Brevard, FL

Where do you guys take your trucks for service and repairs (other than the dealer)? I called KRC and they do performance upgrades but no repairs... Any thoughts? Much appreciated!

anyone find a solution for the passenger side AC problem?

Here comes the hot season again with the reminder that my passenger side AC still blows hot air. Has anyone found a solution, recall, or anything. Thank you much for any advise!

    Paxton Maintenance?

Paxton has been on for about 20k miles, so far no problems. I have noticed the high-pitch whine has gotten louder that it used to be, especially at low rpm, but no performance issues that I can feel. Just being proactive here, should there be any maintenance done to the SC, other that the...

Manual Tranny - Q on shifting problem

What would make it difficult to shift while the truck is at a dead stop? Sometimes it is hard to get it into 1st gear, and putting it into reverse even worse. I've had to shut the truck off to shift it into reverse, then crank it again in gear. Shifting into second gear followed by a shift...

    Who got a recall notice?

It reads: "G28 GEAR SHIFT LEVER BLOCKER" Anyone got one, and any idea what it means? Thanks, Mike

    30k Miles!!!

30,000 trouble free miles today! 25,000 miles with forced induction on stock internals, driven hard about 20% of the time, ocasional track time. Religious oil changes and still runs like new. No rattles in the cab or anywhere, no rust, everything works. I really love this truck. :)

    The truth about gears... questions

Just purchased a set of 4:88's to replace the 4:11's on the truck. The intent was to gain low end torque at the expense of top speed that my daily driver never sees, so on the surface it appears to be a no brainer. After doing some searches and reading old posts I realize (maybe too late now)...

Roe vs Paxton: The real story :)

This year's plan is 800-900rwhp. I decided the best way to accomplish this would be to work on the top end. The Paxton would be more suitable for this instead of trying to force the Roe's fat torque curve into the higher ranges. Engine build mods will be as indicated in my sig. The project...

    Interest in used Roe supercharger?

I'm taking it to the next level and replacing the Roe early next year, Larry Macedo will be working on my build. I'm trying to raise interest in my Roe supercharger setup, which will become available sometime before February, which would give any interested parties time to make a decision and...

    Roe vs. Paxton?

Not looking for a flamefest, just interested to know if during any of the latest GTG's anyone had a chance to pit their Roe SC against a Paxton SC. Thanks!

    Catless mids and exhaust stink

For those of you running catless mids I have a question: I've been getting choked up with fumes and unburned gas smell, not only while I wait at red lights, but sometimes even when I'm cruising at low speed. If the windows are closed and I'm idling, sometimes it gets really bad, opening the...

    For Sale: Roe Throttle Body

Used Roe TB, engraved "VTCA Edition". I installed the TB, after a few miles the butterfly started sticking at idle. I posted about this and tried several things, like adjusting the stop screw and buffing the edges of the butterfly, but the problem persisted. There are several satisfied...

    Ceramic coat of headers

Got my long tube headers back on the truck after having them coated. Serviced the headers and also the catless mids for the heck of it, they really look nice and hare holding up without discoloring. Macedo Motorsports had it done, the choices were silver, black and "flames" :) , I opted for the...

    Sticky throttle problem

Shortly after the Roe TB install the gas pedal started sticking slightly at iddle, when I push it had enough (and mind you, it is not very hard) to overcome the sticking point it "pops" slightly and jerks into a higher rpm. This is making it very anoying when shifting or taking off from a...

Ok, I went off and did the "H" thing.

Figuring I had not much to loose (except a tip for my friend at the muffler shop) and something to gain (the possibility of a better sound), I took the "Mythbusters" approach and had a 2.5" section of tubing joining the catless mids, upstream of the stock muffler. My friend pulled the...

    Am I the first one????

Roe TB installation took one hour, smooth going. Started right up, idle was the same as before. Intake noise really increased on WOT (WHOOOOP), sounds just great. The ride feels better, but hard to tell without a dyno run what kind of performance gain there is, I imagine the lower restriction...

"H" before catback... does it really do anything?

Looking at the stock catback, the straight pipe sections going though the muffler have several large perforations that cause the exhaust from both tubes to mix inside the can. How would the addition of an "H" or "X" before the muffler have much of an effect, since the exhausts are mixed in the...
